This week’s video made us laugh.

Not the polished kind of laugh…
The real kind.

The kind where you’re trying not to laugh on set…
and you get shushed by a 15-year-old.

It reminded me of something important:

Filmmaking is meant to be done together.

Not just watched.
Not just followed.
Lived.

For a while, we believed something would happen online.

With voices like Hailey Julia (600,000+ followers)
and Aaron Fullan (260,000+ followers),

we thought…
maybe that reach would be enough.

That it would fuel the film.
That it would bring in the Backers and Builders we need.

But here’s what we’ve learned:

Followers don’t always become family.

Most people online are cheering from a distance.
They’re waiting for the trailer.
Waiting for the release date.
Waiting to watch.

And that’s okay.

But it’s not enough to make a movie.

Because movies aren’t built by audiences.

They’re built by people in the room.

People who show up early.
Stay late.
Use their gifts.
Laugh when they’re not supposed to.
And still get the shot.

So we’re making a shift.

We’re not walking away from online…
but we are refocusing locally.

We’re looking for people right here—
in our communities, our churches, our neighborhoods—

who want to be part of something real.

Not just to watch a film…
but to help make one.

Because the truth is:

We don’t just want to make a movie.

We want to build a filmmaking family.

A group of people who love Jesus,
love storytelling,
and love using their talents to create something that matters.

And yes…
a group that can laugh together on set again.

If that sounds like you—
we’d love to meet you.

Let’s make movies that matter…
together.
