Hello Highwater Family,
I never would have imagined we’d still be working on So You Want To Marry My Daughter more than three years after filming our First Look back in September 2022. But here we are—and we’re still standing. Thank you for sticking with us through every season. We are not giving up until this film is complete.
This week, Kylia and I enjoyed a Daddy-Daughter brunch at Black Bear Diner, and it hit me—that’s where we held our wrap party after filming the First Look. Full-circle moments like that remind me how faithful God has been every step of the way.
As we head into 2026, our strategy to fund this film is simple and bold—two fronts:
Our heroic spokesman Aaron will continue casting vision online across the worldwide web.
And our new Director of Development, Rochelle Gordon, and I will be doing some good old-fashioned door knocking—specifically church knocking in our community.
The Deliverance of Amy Stronghold was greenlit because of the generosity and belief of one 50-member church in Olympia, Washington. God may choose to use one church again—or 100 churches. Our job is simply to take steps of faith each day.
We’ll be gifting DVDs of Amy Stronghold and handing out Highwater.app cards, sharing the vision wherever God opens doors.
Our family carries a call to build a Christian film community.
We have the stories.
We have the cast.
We have the crew.
We have distribution.
All we need is 100 people giving their best monthly gift to greenlight So You Want To Marry My Daughter.
Now that Adalie is married… I feel even more qualified to direct this movie.
We’re creating a beautiful story that celebrates God’s design for marriage and family—with drama, comedy, stunts, and plenty of laughter.
More than anything, I want to make movies with my friends.
So I’m growing my friend circle to 100 people who will:
Cheer us on
Sacrifice financially
Join us on set (yes, dancing in the wedding scene!)
Pray for us
Dream with us
Jesus will be glorified through Highwater Entertainment.
Enjoy the First Look we filmed over three years ago—it still carries the heart of this project.
Next week, Aaron will release a brand new pitch—stay tuned and share it!
We thought finding 100 would be easy… it’s not.
We currently have about 20 onboard and 80 to go.
But we believe 2026 is our year for the Highwater 100 to be fully funded.
Thank you for joining us on this journey.
We love you all.
With faith,
Seth
