Dear Highwater Family,
I wanted to share a small update from the heart.
Writing has officially begun on a new draft of So You Want to Marry My Daughter.
Becoming a real-life Father of the Bride has changed me. Seeing my daughter in her wedding dress for the first time, walking with her through this season, and watching God write a new chapter in her life has given me fresh perspective. I’m taking those real moments, emotions, and lessons and pouring them into the screenplay.
This story is no longer just a script — it’s personal.
We are still praying and working toward finding our Highwater 100. I’ll be honest: it’s not easy to make 100 new friends who want to make a movie together. But every conversation, every prayer, and every step forward reminds me why this vision matters. Movies can still carry truth, family, and faith in a beautiful way.
Thank you for standing with us. Your encouragement and support mean more than you know.
I cannot wait for the day we gather for our first table read with our cast. That moment is coming — and it will be because of this community.
Grateful for you always,
Seth
