Last weekend, we helped Adalie and Benny move to Bend, where they’ve been invited to help plant a church. I’m excited to see them follow Jesus, but having my daughter three hours away is stretching this dad’s heart.
We also arrived in a community grieving the tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary. My sister-in-law teaches there, bringing that heartbreak uncomfortably close to home. Please pray for every family in that school community, including our own.
Through an emotional week, I continued writing Draft 2 of So You Want to Marry My Daughter—a story about a dad learning to let his daughter fly. We’re living it, and I believe God can use this movie to minister to many families. Please pray as I write and prepare to share the screenplay with our team.
