This week, I went live for the very first Highwater Live—a new weekly conversation where I’ll be sharing the journey of making our next film, So You Want to Marry My Daughter, and inviting you to be part of it.
Every Monday at 4pm, I’ll go live for 20 minutes to connect, share updates, and build something together—not just a film, but a community.
If you’re new here, I’m Seth Himes. I’m a husband to April, a father of four daughters, and I’ve spent my life pursuing a calling to make Christian films that honor God. Our first feature, The Deliverance of Amy Stronghold, came out of years of real ministry—walking with people through some of life’s hardest moments. That’s how we approach filmmaking: we live the story before we tell it.
This next film is no different. It’s rooted in family, faith, and the real-life journey of being a father. And now, we’re inviting others to join us in making it.
We’re looking for 100 people—the Highwater 100—who want to help bring this film to life through monthly giving, prayer, and partnership. This isn’t just about funding a movie. It’s about building something meaningful together.
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a film that reflects your values, this is your invitation.
