Highwater Family,

Something powerful is happening right now—and you can feel it. At the end of this newsletter is a short video that gets right to the heart of what we’re building.

Rochelle Gordon, our Director of Development, asks my wife and producing partner, April, a simple question about prayer. What comes out isn’t polished or rehearsed—it’s honest, grounding, and real. It’s a glimpse into how this film, this team, and this entire movement is being carried when no one is watching.

Behind the scenes, momentum is building fast. I’ve been deep in the screenplay again, and I can honestly say—it’s turning out great. The story is sharper, funnier, more meaningful, and more emotionally honest than ever before. Every rewrite is bringing it closer to the film we’ve always believed it could be.

At the same time:

• Rochelle has been meeting with churches, sharing the vision, and opening doors through real relationships.

• Aaron is spreading the word online, introducing new people every week to the Highwater 100 and what it means to make movies with life.

This is not an idea anymore. This is motion. We’re still building toward our first 100 investors—the Highwater 100—people who want to do more than watch movies… people who want to help make them. If you’ve been feeling that nudge, that curiosity, that quiet “maybe I’m supposed to be part of this,” now is the moment.

One important housekeeping note for our investors: Highwater Entertainment is a for-profit LLC, not a non-profit. Because of that, we don’t send donation reports in January. Instead, investors receive a K-1, which will be sent before the March 15th deadline, in time for your taxes. Tax documents will be going out by the end of this month. If you have questions—or if you’re ready to join the Highwater 100—reach out to me directly. My number is at the top of Highwater.app.

Thank you for praying with us, believing with us, and building something meaningful together.

Let’s make this movie.
